Fetch & Flow (“we”, “us”, or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Fetch & Flow Lore Studio desktop application (“the App”).

1. Overview

Fetch & Flow Lore Studio is a local-first desktop application designed for writing and worldbuilding.
We do not require user accounts, and we do not collect or sell personal data.

Most functionality operates entirely on your device.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, store, or track:

• Personal identifiers (name, email address, IP address)

• Account information (the App does not require accounts)

• Usage analytics or telemetry

• Location data

• Payment information

• User-generated content created within the App

3. Local Data Storage

All project files, lore entries, and written content are stored locally on your device in locations you choose.

We do not upload or sync your files to our servers.

4. AI Features & Third-Party Processing

The App includes optional AI-assisted writing features.

Bring Your Own Key (BYOK)

• To use AI features, you must provide your own API key for a third-party AI provider (such as OpenAI).

• Your API key is stored securely on your device using operating system–level encryption.

• Your API key is never transmitted to Fetch & Flow.

AI Requests

When AI features are used:

• Text you submit (such as prompts or selected content) is sent directly from your device to the chosen AI provider for processing.

• Fetch & Flow does not log, store, or retain this content.

Use of AI features is subject to the third-party provider’s own privacy policy and terms.

5. Consent for AI Features

AI features are optional.

Before first use, the App presents a clear disclosure explaining that text may be sent to a third-party AI provider.
AI features are only enabled after you provide explicit consent.

You may disable AI features at any time.

6. Image Generation

The current version of the App does not include image generation features.
No images or media files are transmitted to external services.

7. Network Access

The App only accesses the internet when:

• You explicitly use AI-assisted features, or

• You choose to open external links (such as documentation or community resources).

There are no background network processes.

8. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect user data, including:

• Operating system–level encryption for stored API keys

• No plaintext storage of sensitive credentials

• Restricted internal access between app components

9. Children’s Privacy

The App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated as the App evolves.
Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
