Exciting Updates from Lore Studio: A Journey of Creativity and AI

A Personal Note

Hi Everyone,

I apologise for the late update and my lack of communication. Life has been a whirlwind lately! Lore Studio has always been a passion project for me. It’s something I tinker with during my free time. Unfortunately, that time has been consumed by job searching due to changes in my full-time job.

As you can imagine, this has involved countless job applications and a fair share of rejection emails. Sigh. However, I’m finally reaching the interview stage, so fingers crossed!

Embracing AI in My Job Search

In the midst of all this, I’ve been exploring ways to incorporate AI into my job search. I want to avoid the trap of generating AI slop that could hurt my chances. My main strategy has been to write my CV myself. I clearly outline my previous work experiences and then hand it over to an AI agent. Currently, I’m using the Hermes agent framework.

I provide the AI with the types of jobs I’m interested in, aligning them with my skills and experience. Having my agent constantly online has been a game changer. I set it to conduct an automated job search early each morning. It sends me a tailored report via Telegram. This has been incredibly handy!

The Future of Lore Studio

Now, let’s talk about the status of Lore Studio and the current AI landscape. There’s so much happening right now, with even more on the horizon! My goal for upcoming versions is to provide secure and proactive support for all the new AI models being released. This will give users the flexibility to choose their AI provider in what feels like a never-ending battle among the AI giants.

I’m also testing and implementing local AI options that are popping up. It’s an exciting time to be involved in this field!

Steam Version and Future Plans

The Steam version is still on the table. I’ve been testing and slowly developing it into a standalone version focused on local embedded models. This shift in focus aims to simplify the version, helping it pass the Steam evaluation stage more quickly.

A Well-Deserved Break

As for my weekend plans, I’m off on a little bank holiday adventure. It’s a well-deserved break, and I’m looking forward to it!
